Beretta's been one of my favorite spots to catch up with friends with over a happy hour lately! It's a short walk from the BART, and a few blocks from a parking garage so it's super easy to get to - and so far we've had pretty good luck of minimal wait times when showing up for happy hour. The servers were friendly, and were happy to help us adjust the blinds when the sun was glaring through the window. Food also came out super quickly after we ordered. The two pizzettas were a great size to split between 3-4 of us, and both were delicious - I slightly prefer the margherita though! The meatballs were tender and the sauce was mildly spicy - nothing crazy, just enough for a pleasant heat. The cocktails we've tried have all been tasty as well. Hands down our favorite appetizer has been the walnut bread - the truffle is nice and fragrant, and tastes amazing with the and honey! We order this every time we go.

They have two locations in the city, one in Valencia/Mission and the other closer to downtown. We came here on a Friday night for a party of 3 and didn't make a reservation. We had to wait about 45 minutes and the first seating was outside and it was pretty cold. They had some workers that were working so it wasn't too bad. It's probably easier to hear and chat outside as opposed to inside. Service was great, our server helped us choose our wine to pair with what we ordered. I think we got the Falangina and Pinot Grigio. We ordered the beet salad, the funghi pizza, and squid ink risotto. The food came out so fast and was super good fresh. We mentioned to the server that it was our friends birthday and they gave us tiramisu! We finished everything. It looks like people also can pick up for order too. Parking can be a little tough but there's street parking and it's not too far from a residential area.

My friend recently chose Beretta Valencia to celebrate her birthday on a Saturday evening. She made a reservation at 7:30pm for our group of 9 so when we arrived, we were seated quickly with no issues. The restaurant has a nice ambiance, seems like a great place to for date night with the dimmed lighting and candles. It's not a huge restaurant but they also have some seating outside. As a group, we decided to order family style - 3 pizzas, 2 pastas, assorted apps, and a couple of rounds of drinks. Some highlights: + calamari: well seasoned, fried to a nice crisp, and delicious with the aioli. Wish we had more so we didn't have to share! ;) + cacio e pepe: yum! Flavorful without being toooo cheesy. + bartenders pizza: the burrata on there is a treat! Really fresh and creamy. Though, the pizza itself wasn't as spicy as I was hoping it would be. + chasing rabbits: a refreshing mix of vodka, lemon, honey, and blood orange. It was so good more than half of us at the table ordered it. Portion wise, the assortment was enough for us to share as a group to leave satisfied, but not entirely full. Prices were decent. Maybe a little more than I'd like to pay for the amount we received but also understanding that we're in SF. Service was great, especially when it came to us constantly adding to our order. Our server easily took our many requests without complaint. One note for big groups: they can split the check with 3 cards max. For parking, we did have to circle the block a few times to find something but eventually we ended up finding street parking in the neighborhood a couple of blocks away. Just prep some time ahead if you plan to drive!
